“Number 7 Guest House earns its reputation through its views, from which the Dracula connection only deepens the Whitby experience. I found the hosts' warmth notable, setting the stage for what feels like a highly personal stay. Its location asks for a little climb, yet the reward of such views, and the homey feeling, makes it a place to return to.”

Excellent Stay

easy check-in good location parking permit
I found the check-in process very straightforward. The hotel's location allowed convenient access to the surrounding areas. I received a parking permit, a great perk considering the limited parking nearby. The room offered ample snacks and tea and coffee supplies, which I greatly appreciated.

The location was perfect. i had free parking, though spaces are somewhat limited around the guest house. the breakfast each morning was a treat. I especially liked the freshly cooked local produce. i appreciated the smooth contactless check-in. It gave me all the necessary details upfront.
room 5 felt a bit small. the bathroom seemed more suited for someone shorter than me. it was a little cramped.
Facilities
9/10
the hotel offers available parking spaces, which are located directly around the guest house.. the spaces might be limited. i noticed clear signage for contactless check-in, so accessing information was easy. breakfast seating is well-organized with tables.

The breakfast included many choices. It was acceptable.
room size was a real issue. my single room felt more like a closet, about 7 square meters, including the bathroom. i bumped my head several times because the shower was too low, about 2 meters. the price felt too high for such a small space.
